The Personal Identification Number (PIN) is used to verify the identity of the cardholder, typically to authorise a transfer of funds from the card account through various means. SINNAD offers two types of PIN delivery.
PIN PRINTING IN ENVELOPES is a method involves inserting the printed PIN into a single physical envelope which is handed to the cardholder. The PIN envelopes are made of special paper that combines an envelope and an attached secure form. The specific design of the product makes it impossible to read the printed information without damaging its integrity.
PIN Over SMS is a new secure method of PIN delivery to cardholder. The PIN can be sent automatically once cards issued or whenever the cardholder contacts the financial institution to activate card or whenever a PIN replacement is requested. The PIN will be sent to the cardholders’ registered mobiles.
